Delegates who have registered for conference tour are requested to assemble at 8.15 AM sharp behind the main building at the help desk. Please leave your place of stay at 7.30 AM after breakfast to arrive at FRI for conference tour.

Submit your Travel Plan for CFC-2017. All Registered delegates are requested to submit their travel plan at CFC website.. 
Delegates who have registered under student category and have not submitted bonafide student certificate till date, must send the same through email at [email protected] on or before 1st April, 2017. In absence of bonafide student certificate they will be asked to deposit the difference amount of registration fee as applicable to Indian / Foreign delegate as on date. . 
The acceptance of presentations (Oral / Poster) has been communicated to the respective authors. The authors who have submitted the abstracts are considered to make the presentation provided the authors has registered within the stipulated time period. 
On the Spot Registration is applicable till Conference Dates.

 Call for Side Events Last Date - 16th January, 2017
 This is for the kind information for all of the authors/prospective participants in the forthcoming XIX Commonwealth Forestry Conference that following the procedure of internal and external review, the decision on the abstracts received for the cfc2017 has been communicated to all the authors. In case any author has not received the decision, he should contact the conference secretariat by 30th of January 2016.
It is also informed that based on the request of some of the authors whose abstract has been chosen for oral presentation, that the last date for their registration to enable to retain their oral slot has been extended upto 30th January 2017. It is therefore advised that they should register on or before 30th January 2017 to confirm/maintain the validity of the oral slot for cfc2017.

The posters will be evaluated on 5th April 2017 (Session 9, 11.30 – 13.00 hrs) by an independent jury for selection of best poster presentation in each sub-theme of the CFC2017. The presenters are advised to remain near their poster for presentation. Following two dimensions will be taken into account while selecting the best posters :

 Research substance: The originality and quality of the research idea as well as the methodology adopted in execution and the interpretation of the results. 

 Presentation: The poster and the poster presenter will be assessed for their ability to convey the research and its results to the poster audience. Poster design and the presenter’s quality of communication will be important consideration. 

The winners will be awarded with a certificate during the valedictory function on 7th April 2017.

 Guidelines

Poster Layout: Posters should be laid out in portrait style. The poster board surface is 80 cm wide and 110 cm high - make sure the poster fits into this surface. The poster number will be displayed by the organizers on the top of the poster panel. Mounting materials will be available at the Poster Help desk. The recommended material to print the posters is laminated paper.

Poster presenters are advised to mount their posters inside the Poster Session venue (Social Forestry Museum Hall)FRI main building on Sunday, 2 April or Monday, 3 April between 9:00 and 18.00 hrs, and remove them on Friday, 7 April, between 13:00 and 18:00 hrs. The poster exhibition staff will remove and dispose of posters that are not taken down. The staff assumes no responsibility for material left behind.
