Call for Side Events

The organizers of the 19th Commonwealth Forestry Conference (CFC 2017) invite proposals for side events to take place in conjunction with the conference. Side events will be considered that address, one or more of the conference themes/subthemes. Governmental, non-governmental, inter-governmental organizations, private sector, who wish to organize side event on relevant topics on conjunction with the Congress should submit   their proposals from July 1st to January 16th 2017. Side events are open to all registered delegates and their organizations participating at the official sessions of the CFC2017.

A limited number of meeting rooms will be made available to organizations and associations interested in holding side events. Basic equipment such as a LCD projector, a screen and microphones will be provided in the meeting rooms. Meeting organizers are responsible for managing attendance notifications. To meet the logistics, charges for organising the side event are hereunder:

  1. Foreign organizations US 3000
  2. Indian organizations INR 200000

The payments for side events can be made online after submitting the side event proposal form. Please submit the application form on-line, available on the Congress website. Proposals should be submitted by 16 January 2017, using the online Side Event Proposal Form. Round tables, workshops, training sessions and discussion forums are welcome and the style and format choice are entirely up to the side event proposer.
